  • HOW MUCH IS REGISTRATION?: 1st through 3rd Grade - Is $470, 4th - 7th Grade is $570, and 8th Grade is $520. Registrations include reversible game jerseys, game pants with integrated pads, helmet decals, league fees, practice fields, insurance and administrative fees.
  • DOES THE COST COVER THE UNIFORM?: Yes, it covers the reversible game day jersey, and game day pants with integrated pads. Information on being fit for jerseys and pants will be provided at a later time. Parents are responsible for the protective gear, and accessories. You can find a list of required and optional equipment by visiting our Tackle Equipment page found under our Football tab.
  • ARE THERE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: Yes. New Players will need to provide: a copy of their birth certificate and a current physical good through November 7th. Returning Players will only need to provide a current physical good through November 7th. You will be provided a link to upload these documents.
  • ARE WEIGH-INS MANDATORY?: Yes, it is mandatory to attend the official weigh-in for 1st-7th graders on August TBD, 2026. If your player cannot attend, they will be required to attend a late weigh-in date and pay a $40 assessment to the league that SJSA will have to collect prior to the weigh-in. This is a league fee, not one assessed by SJSA. 8th graders DO NOT need to weigh in.
  • WHEN DO PRACTICES BEGIN?: Some coaches will hold weekly conditioning practices beginning in May. Official practices begin the week of July 20th.
  • WHEN DOES REGISTRATION END?: We will close an age group when teams are at capacity. Due to the required minimum plays for each player, we cap all teams up to 7th grade to meet these requirements and maximize play time for everyone. The 8th grade division has no minimum play time.
  • WE MISSED EVALUATIONS?: That's okay. You can still register and be placed where we have openings.
  • CAN I REQUEST A FRIEND AND/OR COACH?: All 4th - 8th grade teams are placed off of evaluations. If your player did not attend evaluations they will be placed where there are openings.
  • WHEN ARE GAMES?: Games begin August 22nd and are every Saturday, including Labor Day Weekend, through November 7th, if your team continues on to the Super Bowl.
